Server Rules

These are the rules that all members of the community must follow. Please read them carefully and follow them at all times.

In-Game Rules

We strongly advise all members to review our in-game rules before joining a session to prevent any moderation actions.

  • Fail Roleplay: Maintaining a sense of realism throughout the roleplay is important. Avoid engaging in actions that would be unrealistic or unlikely to occur in real life.
  • Random & Vehicle Deathmatch: Do not kill someone without having a valid reason. This means shooting, ramming, or deliberately slamming into other cars without using the appropriate roleplaying.
  • New Life Rule: Everything from your previous life is lost when you pass away. Never go back to scenes where you lost your life.
  • Being Respectful: It is mandatory to show respect to all players, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for everyone involved.
  • Realistic Avatar: For a realistic and genuine roleplaying experience, your avatar needs to look realistic. Things that are not attached to your avatar, wings, swords, etc. are prohibited.
  • Attention Seeking: Do not purposefully break laws or try to get an officer's attention. This comprises activities such as GTA driving, intentionally looping around a law enforcement officer, and so forth.
  • Arresting: When cuffing a player, you must have a valid reason and roleplay it. You must use cuff motion and say *cuffs* before cuffing the player.
  • Pointless Priorities: You must never flee from law enforcement or shoot at an officer during a traffic stop unless you have a legitimate reason, such as being a highly wanted criminal or having recently eluded police. Shooting to escape an RP scene, traffic stop, or minor arrest (like for reckless driving or speeding) is not justified.
  • Organized Crimes: You need moderator approval to carry out organized crimes such as jewelry store robberies, bank heists, and hostage situations. To request permission, visit the Priority Request channel and submit your request.
  • Drug Roleplay: Drug roleplay is permitted within Florida State Roleplay to a certain extent. If you abuse this, it will be up to the moderator to decide the proper punishment based on the situation.
  • Stealing Vehicles: Stealing vehicles is allowed. However, if you are not a @Server Booster, you cannot steal prestige/exotic vehicles.
  • Roblox & PRC ToS: You MUST follow all Roblox & PRC Terms of Services at all times. If you fail to do so, you will be permanently banned from our server.
  • Peace & Priority Timer: When the priority/peace timer is active, you cannot activate or commit any crimes that make you wanted. Priorities are scenes that you need to get the police involved. Some examples include robberies, shootings, and pursuits.
  • Jewelry & Bank Robberies: If you want to roleplay a jewelry or bank robbery, you must have a group of 3+ members and after robbing you must wait 30 seconds for police to show up, however, if police do not show up you may flee the scene.
  • Group Roleplay: Mafia roleplays will now be an allowed roleplay! The maximum number of group/gang/mafia members you can have will be 5. This does not mean you will be exempt from any moderator punishments, all rules in place will still affect you, and hitman roleplay will still be banned.
  • Costume & Short Avatar: While roleplaying, you are not allowed to wear animal costumes. Anything that can be perceived as a non-roleplay character is not allowed to roleplay any scenes or drive any vehicles. We also do not allow short avatars within our In-game server.
  • Microphone: A microphone is required at all times as this is a VC ONLY SERVER. Not having a microphone will get you kicked from our server.
  • Kidnapping/Hostage Scenes: Members of Florida State Roleplay must confirm whether any Whitelisted Faction Members they intend to take hostage during a Hostage/Kidnapping Priority Scene are in training or on a ride-along. This applies to all Department Ranked Personnel, including LEO, FDOT, and FD. Failure to comply may result in a warning or other punishment.
  • Respecting Admins/Moderators: You must respect all administrators and moderators. Staff members are required to show no bias or favoritism, and they will act professionally. You must listen to them and treat them with respect. Disrespecting or ignoring admins/moderators will not be tolerated.

Discord Rules

We strongly advise all members to review our Discord Guidelines before engaging with the community to prevent any moderation actions.

  • Discord Nickname: Your Discord nickname must include your full Roblox username.
  • Remaining Respectful: Please respect all users within our Discord server.
  • Spamming: Spamming links, stickers, gifs, emoticons, text, or emojis is strictly prohibited.
  • Controversial Topics: Do not speak or bring up any controversial topics at all, if there is talking lurking around about this it will be shut down immediately and dealt with by our discord server administrators.
  • Starting Drama: Do not attempt to start/participate in any drama whatsoever within our community.
  • NSFW: NSFW content in our Discord is prohibited and will result in a ban if you do so.
  • Advertisement: Do not advertise any other community/service within our Discord server. We do not moderate DM advertisements.
  • Voice Channel: Do not use any voice changers or soundboards in any VC. Ear Rape in VC is also strictly prohibited e.g. breathing heavily into your mic, screaming into your mic, or playing disturbingly loud music with the Music Bot, or via background noises.
  • Language Speaking: We are a server that speaks exclusively English. Kindly don't speak in any other languages.
  • Discord ToS: If you’re caught violating any of the Discord ToS or Community Guidelines, you will be permanently banned from our community.
  • Common Sense: Please ensure to use common sense within our Discord. Having said that, a rule does not become invalid simply because it is not mentioned.
  • Alt Accounts: Do not use or have an alt account within this server.
  • Swearing: Swearing is allowed to an extent. You may not be over excessive with it. If someone asks you to stop swearing, you must stop.
  • Pinging: Please do not ping / direct message anyone @Assistant Director+ unless you have a valid reason. As well as do not encourage others to break this rule.
